Rude Goldberg Machine

  • Made Using Blender and Substance Painter

  • Rendered with Cycles over the course of 3 weeks

  • Camera Constraint modifier used to track to the ball, with follows a curve placed between the glass rods

  • Rigid Body simulation and a random custom texture generator used for dominoes

  • Particle systems used for final scene to scatter the industrial backdrop

  • Followed TutsByKai’s tutorial to learn how to make fireworks

  • All sound effects recorded myself

  • Song sampled: The Family Crest - "Beneath the Brine"

Mini - Biomes

Yellow Brick Road

  • Road modelled manually with brick texture randomly selected from a non-gradient color ramp

  • Well was inspired by Grant Abbitt’s tutorial

  • Mushrooms, flowers, grass, and rocks scattered with particle weight maps

  • Star sky HDRi downloaded from Polyhaven

  • Rendered with Eevee with Glow enabled

  • Color correction, vignette, and Starglow water effect completed in After Effects

 

Samurai Stand

  • Modelled, Rigged and Animated in Blender

  • Rendered with Eevee

  • Background/Foreground made in After Effects

  • Foreground leaves made from self-shot footage, with a keyed-out sky

  • Leaf particles generated with Trapcode Particular

  • Foreground for is Unmulted Youtube footage

  • Wave plugin used to fake the wind in the grass

  • Originally a 2 minute animation made for an OC song
